The White Lake fire Department was organized in 1927 and incorporated in 1933 in the State of New York. It has operated since 1933 at its old fire house on 17B in White Lake . In 1992, the members financed their own loan and built a new station at no expense to their district. |
In 1993, the Fire Company volunteers started a fund raiser called Bingo, and in 7 years paid off the loan. Their main fund raiser is still Big Bucks Bingo every Friday night at 6:45 pm, with up to 5000.00 given away, Winter and Summer. They have a total facility: handicapped accessible, two separate rooms for smokers and non -smokers, reservations for regular players and a kitchen for home made snacks.On Wednesday at 6:45 pm, the Catskill Detachment of the Marine Corp League has Bingo with prizes up to 4000.00. Doors open at 5PM Wed. and Fri. nights. Do come and enjoy yourself and meet them, your home town Fire Department.Warmest Regards, The White Lake Fire Department.
