John Deck of Long Eddy as President Abraham Lincoln

Visit from Abe

The second grade class at Damascus Elementary School had a recent treat, when Abraham Lincoln, alias John Deck of Long Eddy, addressed the class for a social studies lesson, and gave the life history of one of America's most famous presidents. Standing to the left of "Abe" is Jason Litzenbauer of Abrahamsville, Pa., Mr. Deck's grandson.
